If you love dancing, you’ll love us. Good Morning Rave happens on a Saturday morning in Sheffield. I started it in Autumn 2013 and this autumn it went monthly.
A friend made us a video of the one in April 2015 (it was amazing! check out the video https://youtu.be/lqJamEyqGG4).
Next one: Saturday 22nd October, 2016!!
DJ is Johnny M, of Secret Garden and Planet Zogg. Funky grooves, global beats and maybe some disco!
We have a new venue too. Good Morning Rave is delighted to be welcomed to....
Regather Works and Cafe, Club Garden Rd, S11 8BU, https://goo.gl/FGVBJj, or see the map below
between the usual times of: 9am til 12.30pm x
Some more dates for your diary:
Saturday 19th November 2016 with DJ Chiv of Papa Soul and Bison fame.
more dates will be announced soon for Jan, Feb and March '17.
£5 per adult, £3 concessions, kids come free... distinctly, if wierdly, child friendly. Feel free to give more, cos my plan is to pay my DJ's money !! many of you do, so a big thank you.
The face painting goes from strength to messy-ness.
Regather Works have a cafe which will provide delicious food, tea, coffee and I'm hoping we'll have some juices for you from September. Come and support the cafe as it helps Regather to host us.
The" Fancy Dressing Up?" rail is getting fuller and well used, but feel free to come along fully, and foolishly, bedecked out, and out do us!
Wanna dance but can’t be arsed to wait til silly o’clock to have a wiggle? Don’t want to, or can’t waste a day recovering? Decided its time to clean up your life but WHY do you have to give up clubbing? Well, the good news is… you don’t have to, come and dance and mess around with us!
Great tunes, great people, wierdly family friendly, loads of daft stuff too like fancy dress. 9am til lunchtime (roughly 12.30pm). Come along whenever you're up and awake. You don't have to stay the duration or turn up early. Just cruise along for a strut and a coffee whenever you fancy.
A variety of DJ’s have played a right variety of music.. techno, house, ska, reggae, funk, world, fusion, swingtechno, 90's classic dance, punk, old skool, new stuff, drum and bass, disco… basically anything that makes your bum wiggle and makes it keep on wiggling. The game plan is to do it sober, but we’ll take you anyway you are.
£5 on the door. £3 concessions. Kids come free but little ears will need Ear Defenders. You can buy them at at DIY stores or on-line. Peltor are a recommended brand and this one fit a friends 5yr daughter: http://www.screwfix.com/p/site-folding-ear-defenders-28-5db-snr/93920
The venue is Regather Works, 57-59 Club Garden Rd, Sharrow/Highfields, Sheffield S11 8BU. Pretty much behind Harrisons Cameras off London Rd.

Our most recently flyers:
April 2015. I've noticed I keep saying 'this is my favourite yet... well its true this one is my fav. Fancy dressed up to the hilt, tutu stuff everywhere, lion tails, long skirts on blokes, kids hiding under zebra fabric. Great decor from the Lantern Festival crew (thanks! :-)), mostly Patrick Amber (who is responsible for the last two flyers/artwork AND decor) see his link below and Chiv's Community Decor bag. But mostly it's because this one had even more people and so the vibe was even better. More smiles, more dancers, more general silliness. Can't go wrong really can you?
A few pics .. x
A couple from last Oct '14, cant find the rest, it was a cracker cos my mate Si used it for his birthday party, pt 2 or 3 or something x
April 2014... got all fancy a bought a DJ up from down south (rather than just blagging me mates). This lot are taken with my phone, so they're a bit fuzzy. Sorry bout that, but I'm glad I got them.
